Red Sea Futures tracks maritime security incidents across the Red Sea, Bab-el-Mandeb,
the Gulf of Aden and the Strait of Hormuz. The map plots recorded incidents from 2015
to the present alongside 144 ports from the NGA World Port Index — typed as container,
commercial, oil terminal or LNG/LPG terminal — plus commercial shipping corridors and
chokepoint transit counts for Suez, Bab-el-Mandeb and Hormuz.
Geolocated signals from each weekly intelligence brief are available as separate layers,
issues 1 to 15, each deep-linkable:
the latest brief.
